As we wrap up 2024 and look ahead to 2025, we can’t help but feel proud of everything we’ve achieved as a team. It’s been another year of hard work, growth, and staying true to what matters most – keeping our clients safe, delivering top-quality electrical services, and nurturing the family-oriented culture that defines Astley Electrical.
Let’s take a moment to reflect on the highlights of the year and what made 2024 truly special for us.
From small fixes to big upgrades, we’ve been busy making homes and businesses safer and smarter. This year, we’ve been all over the community, installing new circuits, upgrading old fuse boxes, and handling a range of repairs and renovations. Every job, no matter how big or small, is important to us because it means we’re making a real difference. We’re proud of the work we’ve done and the trust our clients have placed in us.
Astley Electrical is built on the strength of our people. Our team is our backbone, and 2024 saw us grow both in number and in skill. This year, we welcomed two new apprentices, Ben K and Arlen, who are already getting hands-on experience, learning from the best, and contributing to our mission. We also brought on a new tradesmen, Jye, adding even more talent and expertise to our crew. We’re excited to watch all of them grow as electricians and continue to bring fresh ideas to the table.
We also celebrated a personal milestone for one of our own – Ben Astley, Director, welcomed a new baby to the family. Being a family business, this moment was extra special for all of us.
In addition to these personal milestones, we were honoured to receive the 2024 Tradies in Business Coaches Choice Award. This recognition means a lot to us because it speaks to our commitment to the community and our role in inspiring the next generation of tradespeople. We couldn’t be prouder of our team’s hard work, certifications, and ongoing growth.
And because safety is always our top priority, we’re also proud of the first aid training every single team member completed this year. It’s just one of the ways we make sure we’re ready for anything, both on and off the job site.
Our connection to the community is at the heart of everything we do. As a family business, we take pride in supporting local initiatives and fostering relationships that go beyond business. This year, Jacki from our team was featured on the Tradie Wife Life Podcast, where she shared her journey and how she’s helped shape the growth of Astley Electrical.
We’re also thrilled to continue our sponsorships of three local sports clubs: Berowra Cricket Club, Hornsby Rugby Club, and Wahroonga Rugby Club. Supporting these teams is just one way we give back to the community that has supported us over the years.
As we close the door on 2024, we’re already looking forward to an even brighter 2025. We’ve got big plans for next year – more innovative projects, more apprenticeships, and more opportunities to make a difference in the communities we serve. Our goal is simple: to continue providing exceptional electrical solutions while staying true to our family values and commitment to safety.
